What can I expect when it comes to pricing?

As a high-end builder, we don’t aim to be “the cheapest” — and we’re proud of that. Your home is one of your most valuable assets, and we believe in doing the job right the first time — not cutting corners just to win the bid.

We’re often called in to fix subpar work or finish jobs that were abandoned once the final check cleared. That’s not how we operate.

That said, we work closely with every client to choose materials and solutions that align with your vision and budget, without sacrificing quality or craftsmanship.

How does your pricing actually work?

We offer two pricing models based on the project scope:

1. Fixed Price

Ideal for smaller, well-defined projects. You’ll receive a clear quote with no surprises.

2. Cost Plus

Best for larger or more complex work. You pay the actual cost of labor and materials — with no markup. We then add an 18% contracting fee to cover project management and execution.

Example:

• Labor: $15,000

• Materials: $8,000

• Subtotal: $23,000

• 18% Contracting Fee: $4,140

• Total: $27,140

This model gives you transparency and flexibility while ensuring high standards.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. If you complete the “Request a Quote” form on our website, we’ll provide a free estimate.
For in-person consultations, there is a $75 fee to cover time and travel. This fee is fully credited back if you choose to proceed with us.

How soon can you start my project?

Start times depend on our schedule and the size of your project. For smaller jobs, we can often begin within 2 weeks of an approved estimate. We’ll always provide a clear timeline for both start and completion once we understand your needs.

What services do you offer?

We specialize in interior finishing and finish carpentry, but our services go far beyond that. We offer:

What areas do you service?

We’re based in Buffalo, MN, and serve the surrounding communities and the Twin Cities metro area. We typically stay within a 60-mile radius, but we’re flexible. If your project is a good fit, we’d be happy to work with you.

Can I provide my own materials?

In some cases, yes. We're happy to discuss your preferences and see what makes sense. Our goal is to maintain quality, consistency, and a smooth workflow — whether we source the materials or you do.

Do I need to move out during a remodel?

Not usually. It depends on the scale and type of work being done. We’ll let you know what to expect so you can make an informed decision and plan ahead.
